Tape Sync – How not to do it.

In radio we often use a technique, historically called, tape sync. This is when the interviewer and interviewee and in different places and there is no easy way to get a good recording of the subject. The interview is carried out on the phone with both ends recording their audio and then, back in the studio, the two recordings are sync’d together to make it sound as though both people where in the same room (ish).
